Meadowbank Park Constitution Road, Meadowbank Melrose Park NSW

Call: 02 9952 8222

Riding is a great way to spend time with children, but as parents, their safety on the road is the most important thing to start. Go for a ride together at Meadowbank on Saturday 21st September to help your children develop the skills they need to become safe cyclists. To celebrate NSW Bike Week the City of Ryde has partnered with Bike North to present the Children’s Essential Cycling Skills course designed for children to improve their bike balance and handling.

The Children’s Essential Cycling Skills course is run in a car free environment and is designed for children to improve their bike balance and handling. The course is suitable for Primary School aged kids with beginner and basic cycling skill levels. Cycling teachers from Bike North will be available to give tips and answer questions for parents and children.

Participants need to bring their own helmet, a mechanically sound bicycle in good working order and a water bottle. Clothing and footwear must be comfortable and suitable for cycling activities. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian. The course will be held on the netball courts beside Ryde River Walk.
